Hello and happy spring!
Thanks for making your way onto my blog. Lots of fun things have been happening around the Doghouse throughout the winter and into the spring. Most recently, I had a photo shoot with my talented friend Amelia Marie Photography who was able to capture me and Huck in our semi-natural habitat. To be honest I hate having my photo taken, however I have come to realize that premium content is important for a growing business, so lately I have been making more of an effort to get in front of the camera. Let's be super honest though I really just wanted a few shots of me and Bob to pepper around the internet...and maybe hang above the mantle. What a stinkin' good boy he is!
This spring is going to be a busy one for us. I will be making some pottery for exciting new stockists and continuing to foster relationships with existing stockists, like Common Deer, Slate, and Powerhouse Eatery. Currently the custom books are closed, as I've gotten an influx of dinnerware orders which take up lots of kiln and studio space. I will be accepting custom orders for the summer, and would love to chat with anybody who is interested!
Amidst all of the craziness, I am trying to update my website in June before I close on my house (I still want to throw up just thinking about it. But like.. good throw up. Like wow I'm buying a house I'm going to throw up!) The best way to check out previews of work that will be on the website would be to connect with me on social media. You'll also see lots more of Huck that way, and who doesn't want more Huck!
What are you most excited about seeing in my June website update? What would you like to see that I have not made in a while, or perhaps have not made before? Talk to me, people! Let me know in the comments below.
Thanks a million,
Amanda + Huck Bob
